Observed and Modeled Southern Ocean Aerosols and Clouds
Tuesday, 17 November 2020, 15:00-16:00
online
Accurately representing cloud phase and occurrence remains an outstanding challenge for Earth System models. In this talk, we will discuss recent results from a series of Southern Ocean field campaigns that characterized aerosol and cloud properties. These observations are critical for ongoing efforts to assess and improve modeled Southern Ocean aerosol and clouds, which will also be discussed.
