Most of our partners so far stayed in one of the following two hotels which are located between city centre and Forschungszentrum:

Hotel ‘Zum Goldenen Anker’, 76344 Eggenstein, € 47 to €52

www.hotel-anker-eggenstein.de, phone +49 721 706029.

Village next to the Forschungszentrum, 10 min walk to the tram station with frequent connections to both the institute and the city centre.

Nice bike path through forest area, about 5 km to institute, 6 km to city centre (a limited number of simple bikes can be borrowed at the institute).

Hotel ‘Zum Löwen’, 76344 Eggenstein, € 52

www.restaurant-zum-loewen.de, phone +49 721 780070.

About 300 m from the Hotel ‘Zum Goldenen Anker’.

There are some restaurant options close to those hotels, but the village is relatively quiet in the evening. However, public transportation to and from the city centre is very convenient.
