PINE: The Portable Ice Nucleation Experiment

Development and calibration of a new mobile INP counter for continuous and autonomous INP measurements at conditions relevant for mixed-phase and cirrus cloud formation.

ACTRIS Centre for Cloud In Situ measurements:

Setup and servicing ACTRIS national facilities to operate instrumentation for continuous and long-term measurements of climate-relevant cloud properties

SPL: Ice-nucleating particle measurements at Storm Peak Laboratory

Field measurements since October 2021 at Storm Peak Laboratory (CO, US) to quantify INP concentrations and to analyze INPs using a coupled setup of PINE with aeosol sizing instruments and the single particle mass spectrometer PALMS.

PICNIC: The Puy de Dôme ICe Nucleation Intercomparison Campaign

Field measurements during Ocotber 2018 to compare a total of nine online and offline INP measurement techniques at ambient conditions.

CORONA: Long-term INP measurements at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology using online and offline methods

Ambient measurements of INPs since spring 2020 to investigate seasonal variability of INPs and the effect of anthropogenic emission during the CORONA lockdown in Germany.
